Saturday, February 2, 2013 @ 5:11 AM

Prince George, B.C.- The YMCA  not only has a new name, (YMCA of Northern B.C), it now has two new Board members.

Nicole Federucci and Scott McWalter were elected to a three year term each. Nicole is a returning Board Member, previously serving from 2004 – 2011 and Scott is new to the Board but an active member of the organization.

"Our new Board members are an excellent complement to our current directors, says Mark Miller, CEO. They reflect the interests and values of our community and their experience will play a key role as the YMCA creates relevant policies and programs that support children and families in northern BC."

Continuing their terms of office on the Board are: Kim Hess, Jason Blackman, Pat Flack, Peter Vogt, Tara Bogh, Rob Traxler, Rod Bellmann and Ron Epp.

"2013 will be a strategic year for our YMCA as we act on our name change and take steps into the regions while continuing to deliver programming in Prince George," says Pat Flack, Chairperson. Pat is returning for his third term as Chairperson of the organization.
