Corporal Douglass says officers attended Wain’s residence at that time in an effort to check on his well-being. They’ve since spoken with neighbours, family, and friends, but have been unable to locate the man.
"As a result of these checks, Prince George RCMP (have) entered into a Missing Person investigation," says Douglass. "Since Friday, February 1st, investigators have attended many locations and spoken with dozens of people, without success. It’s believed Mr. Wain has not been seen in the Prince George area in over two weeks."
Wain is described as a caucasian male, approximately 5’9" tall, weighing 181-pounds, with grey hair, blue eyes, a moustache and glasses. RCMP say he knows people throughout Northern BC, including Fraser Lake, Vanderhoof, and the Peace Region.
Anyone with information on Wain’s whereabouts is asked to call their local RCMP Detachment, or Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300.
