Drug Raid On City Home Nets Crystal Meth
Prince George, BC – Eight people, including a 13-year-old boy, were discovered inside a suspected drug house in the VLA neighbourhood, when Prince George RCMP executed a search warrant on Wednesday evening.
Members of the Downtown Enforcement Unit, Crime Reduction Team, and General Duty Section entered a home in the 2600-block of Norwood Street just after 5pm and seized 8.5 grams of methamphetamine – the equivalent to approximately 85 doses on the street.
As a result of the raid, 35-year-old Anna Marie Thibodeau is facing a charge of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. Charges are pending against three others.
"The Prince George RCMP will continue to target drug trafficking in residences within our community," says Inspector Brad Anderson. "We will work with property owners and community partners to systematically shut down every one of these properties."
Inspector Anderson says the search warrant was supported by information provided to police by concerned citizens. "It is through these types of collaborative partnerships that criminal drug activity is effectively reduced."

No mention that the 13yr old was an innocent known to be living with his parent at the residence, and was still taken down at gunpoint. What do you suppose he thinks of law enforcement now. They should have planned accordingly to protect and remove the minor so as not to subject him to the trauma of the ordeal. Fortunately the young man has at least one “super” role model in his life that will hopefully give him a fighting chance. Ill call him “S”. All things considered, my respect goes out to “S”. He’s making more of a difference than any of this has accomplished. If we all followed this mans lead, we might have a fighting chance ourselves…
