Cook Set To Appear In Court Later Today
Prince George, BC – Lloyd William Cook is scheduled to appear in BC Supreme Court later today…
Last week, BC Supreme Court Justice Mr. Glen Parrett found the 55-year-old former Prince George resident guilty of two counts in connection with the death of 13-year-old Adam Scott Williams-Dudoward. Mr. Justice Parrett delivered his ruling on Friday, in Cook’s absence, after granting Crown Counsel’s request earlier in the week to have him deemed an absconder.
Cook appeared in Provincial Court, via video conference from Kamloops, yesterday to face a charge of failing to appear. He was remanded in custody.
Crown Counsel believes today’s appearance before Mr. Justice Parrett will be to set a date for sentencing on the charges of unlawful confinement and interference with a dead body. Mr. Parrett had deferred sentencing until Cook had been located.
