Prince George, B.C.- We could know later this morning who is in the running for the Liberals in the Prince George-Mackenzie riding.
A news conference has been scheduled for 10 a.m. by the P.G.-Mackenzie Riding Association.
While the Liberal Party has advised 250News details on the nomination process could be made available by the end of this week, the media advisory issued by the Riding Association indicates there will be an “important announcement”.
The riding is without a candidate since MLA Pat Bell announced on Sunday he would not be seeking re-election because of health concerns.

I am sorry about Mr. Bells annurism but I wish he’d of jumped ship away earlier. Using the sale of BC rail as a protest excuse. To hang in there with the rest of the liberal ground feeders makes him compliant with CC’s government. Don’t ask for my vote ever again!
Sure you voted for him…..got any bridges for sale?
I hope they plan to repeal the carbon tax on gas that just went up AGAIN in PG….
OH that’s right they have to balance the budget.
Carbon tax? Hey, look at our climate here. It’s working. No 40 below and no 40 inches of snow like in 1990 or thereabouts.
Announcement : With all the gas taxes we are collecting our budget will have a surplus!!
