Inquest Called Into Police Shooting in Nimpo Lake

Williams Lake- A inquest has been called into the death of 23 year old Justin Larry Zinser who died after being shot by a police officer at Nimpo Lake in the Chilcotin.
The inquest will begin on August 27th at the Williams Lake Court services building.
Zinser died on September 24th 2011 after being shot by police.
The jury can hear evidence to determine the facts surrounding the death, but cannot make any findings of legal responsibly. It can make recommendations aimed at preventing deaths under similar circumstances.
