Botched Robbery Suspect On the Run in Dawson Creek

Dawson Creek, B.C. – One person has been arrested, and RCMP are on the look out for another, following a botched robbery at a Dawson Creek jewellery store.
One male is in police custody while another male is still outstanding after a botched robbery at a local store in Dawson Creek BC.
Yesterday, two suspects wearing red bandannas over their faces, entered the store and jumped over the counter.
One suspect knocked over a female employee who, with the help of other employees, held on to the male suspect.
The second suspect, armed with an ice scraper, tried to enter the back of the store but another employee confronted the suspect with an aluminum baseball bat. The suspect fled the scene empty handed and was last seen running down an alley that runs parallel to 102nd Avenue.
In custody is a 28 year old male. The suspect who got away is said to be around 5’8” tall, and between 160 and 180 lbs. He was wearing black clothing.

Lesson learned? Don’t bring a plastic ice scraper to an aluminum baseball bat fight? Morons. It is to laff. Publish their names and pictures. Embarrassment and ridicule would be a far more ultimate penalty.
Cowards! He saw the bat and ran. Just too bad someone didn’t follow him.
