Prince George, BC – The Prince George Cariboo Cougars won their eighth game in a row and a team record 30th victory of the season with this morning’s 7-2 hammering of the South Island Royals.

The Cariboo Cougars dominated the Royals this weekend – this morning’s win makes it a weekend sweep, following an 8-1 trouncing of the team yesterday.

The Cats have clinched second spot in the BC Major Midget League, 11-points back of the leading Vancouver NW Giants.  The Cats have two games in-hand.
