Prince George, BC – Environment Canada has issued a heavy snowfall warning for the parts of the Central Interior…

A low pressure system is continuing to bring heavy snow to parts of the Interior.  The weather agency says a slow-moving front associated with the low is stretching from the Northern Chilcotin, through Prince George and McGregor, towards the Northern Columbia region.

Between 5 to 10-centimetres is expected to fall in Prince George and McGregor before the snow eases later today.

The temperature is expected to hold steady near the freezing mark, with wind gusts between 30km/hr to 50km/hr.

Not in Smithers :P

This is Prince George! Stop with the stupid snow fall warnings for 2 to 4 inches. If not going to be a foot or more we don’t need to know. This is not Vancover!

Already more than four (inches) near Salmon Valley before 09:00 today.
metalman.

Seems we have warnings for everything now. Snow warnings, rain warnings, wind warnings. I guess that the media has to have something to talk about other than real happenings. I suggest that we issue a BS warning for the upcoming election. Also a untruth warning for election ads run on TV every 10 minutes. Also a warning that government has it’s hand in every seniors pocket and it seems to be getting worse.

Being a hub city for the north, constant weather updates are a good thing. Have any if you thought that perhaps this story isn’t for your information since you can look out your windows and see that it has snowed? Perhaps it’s for those who are coming to our city who don’t know, or want to know if they will even make it from wherever they are coming from? Believe it or not, the sun doesn’t shine out of your butts, so stop speaking as though it does. =)

Lol, good one littleone.

I’m thinking more like trying to justify a job.
