And one of the founding directors of the McGregor Model Forest … quiet and unassuming ….

RIP

Ted’s passing will be mourned by so many people. Ted and the Moffat family have been icons in the creation and development of Prince George. This is indeed a very sad day. My prayers will be for Ted’s family and all his friends who will miss him immensely..

I had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Moffat on a couple of occasions and he was one guy who knew the vaue of community and how strength in community came from spending your money in the community. RIP Mr. Moffat.

Gimmeabreak: well said and agreed. He will indeed be missed and his contribution must be recognized, especially today. Rest easy, sir.

Very sad news.

We will all miss Mr. Moffat .. but I think maybe the media could get their heads out of their ass and leave the family alone. They have enough to deal with and your crap is not required nor necessary! It would be so nice to think our media in such a small town would have more respect for such a fabulous person

R.I.P. Ted

250News has not contacted the family nor would we in the circumstance. We have a great deal of respect for the family.

Ted and I competed against each other for almost 20 years. Yet, when bad news or very difficult circumstances descended, Ted was always there–for individuals, other businesses or for Prince George.

Ted and I stayed in touch over the years–sharing business and community development ideas.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Very sad. My sincere condolances to the family. He helped me out many years ago and I haven’t forgot it.
Harold gave my Dad a lift in an already overfilled car, when he was hiking into Barkerville looking for work in the thirties.

His brother Ian not mentioned as immediate family. I think Ted kind of took on the role of family patriarch, so its a huge loss for them. A good man that truly had PG at his heart. We need more like him….
