Accident Cuts Power East of PG

Prince George, B.C. – B.C. Hydro crews are working to restore power to customers east of Prince George.

 

A motor vehicle accident around 11 Saturday night knocked out power in the vicinity of the Beaver Forest Service Road. Hydro says 833 customers are affected.  It is estimated that power could be restored by 9 o’clock this morning.
 
Details regarding the accident are not available from police at this time.

Not a big surprise..driving home [east]at 5:30 this morning and the highway all the way to Ferndale hadn’t even been plowed…amazing there were not more accidents.

The highway maintenance company??needs a kick in the pants to keep them on top of these snowfalls before somebodies family gets run over by a tractor trailer unit.

When the MOTH looked after our roads we were all much safer. They looked after things. Now it’s about profit.
