St Paddy’s Day at the Roll a Dome

Prince George, B.C. – The Roll-a-Dome is the place to head to for family fun this St. Patrick’s Day.
 
A full day of activities is lined up starting at 8 this morning and running right through to 7 tonight. Here’s the line-up:
 
9:00am-11:00am (or until food runs out) Rainbow Breakfast
 
9:00am- Noon Games/activities

 

11:00am or 2:00pm City-wide Leprechaun Hunt

 

4:30pm Who Stole the Pot of Gold Mystery

 

5:00pm Irish Leprechaun Supper

 

Pot of Golf scavenger hunts all day 

 

You’re advised to dress for the weather. All activities will go ahead rain, snow or shine.

Why do other countries celebrate st patricks day? I thought that was an irish holiday. Does ireland celebrate Canada day? I think, just as in octoberfest, it is just an excuse for a bunch of people to get drunk. The irish are stereotyped as really liking thier whiskey and beer, so of course they are the country to borrow a holiday from, right?
