Prince George, B.C. – The Dust Advisory  for Prince George  is over.

The Ministry of the Environment reports that at 3 this afternoon,  the 24 hour rolling average for coarse particulate was 47 µg/m³ at the Plaza 400 downtown, 23 µg/m³ at College Heights and 38 µg/m³ at BCR.  Those numbers are within the Provincial target for (PM₁₀) which is  is 50 micrograms per cubic metre averaged over 24 hours.

As for fine particulate, (PM_2.5) the provincial target is 25 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours. The 24 hour PM_2.5 rolling average was 6 µg/m³ at the Plaza 400 downtown site and 4 µg/m³ at College Heights at 3 this afternoon.
