About 600 participants will be taking part in the event which is another “test” event for the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

“Hosting the Gymnastics BC championships in Prince George is an amazing opportunity for our club” said club President Lucia Fendelet. “Not only will it give everyone a chance to see some world class gymnastics, but also raise the profile of Prince George as a sporting event host.”

“The Artistic Gymnastics BC Championships are the largest provincial event held every year,” said Sandra Lewis, Gymnastics BC’s communications director. “We are confident that everyone who comes out to the Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre in Prince George will have a great time watching B.C.’s best gymnasts as they compete for the provincial crown."
