Strane the Cty gets almost a $100,000,000.00 grant from the taxpayers so how about some action by the City?
Cheers

Please stay retired.

Strane day’s indeed.

“help enhance landscapes and activities through matching grants”

Tell you what city of PG. Give me the grant from the city and I will match it with a work equivalency rather than money towards “Tidiness effort”. I will also guarantee that it is not only an effort that will be the result, it will be actual tidiness. So, a $5,000 city grant will provide 400 hours of work input plus equipment. My organization of the work will be free. The money will go to people who need it and are willing to work for it.

Very good idea Gus. I can see a lot of people around town lining up to get the work. Even kids who need a little spending money. Maybe it could be rolled into the help welfare recpients get.
