Madhok Arrested, Search Continues for Another

Prince George, B.C.- One of three men who was on the Prince George RCMP “wanted” list, has been arrested, in fact he was arrested twice in 4 days.
Last Thursday, an officer spotted a suspicious male on Redwood Street in Prince George. Turns out the man was 40 year old Sameer Madhok, one of three men wanted on an outstanding warrant for weapons possession and theft of a motor vehicle. ( see previous story). He was arrested without incident.
He was held in custody until court the next day, at which time he was released on conditions. Those conditions included a curfew.
Last night, a General Duty Officer conducted a curfew check on Madhok, but Police say Madhok failed to come to the door as required by his curfew conditions.
At about 3:30 this morning another officer spotted a man walking on Oak Street. The man turned out to be Sameer Madhok, who was arrested without incident and has been held in custody until his court appearance.
Another of the three wanted, Eric Maurice Cardinal, was arrested in Terrace in early March.
Still on the loose and a subject of a warrant is 30 year old Mark Anthony Stewart ( shown in photo at right) . Formerly from Vanderhoof and Regina Saskatchewan, he remains wanted for offences he is alleged to have committed with Madhok in February.
Stewart is wanted for :

· Theft of a Motor Vehicle
· Theft Over $5000
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
· Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace
A second Arrest warrant has since been issued for Mark Anthony Stewart, this time, the warrant is for failure to comply with probation from January of this year.
Prince George RCMP believe Stewart may have access to firearms and is a threat to the public. He is considered to be armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
He is described as:
· Metis male
· Brown hair
· Brown eyes
· 183 cm (6′)
· 82 kg (180 lbs)
