Quesnel, B.C. – Two males are in police custody following a gun complaint.
Yesterday afternoon, Quesnel RCMP received a report of a group of males standing in front of a car dealership, and that one of the males had a gun.
Police flooded the area to search for a suspect. Although the males were no longer at the original scene, a second call to police gave investigators the direction the trio of males were heading.
Police located the young men and recovered a concealed loaded handgun as well as some marijuana.
The handgun was determined to be a prohibited weapon.
Police say all three males are known to each other and to police.
The two males in custody are facing a string of charges:
· Pointing a firearm,
· Possessing a prohibited firearm
· Uttering threats
· Possession of marijuana.
The two will appear in Quesnel court today.

No need to write possession of MJ. No one considers it a crime except the RCMP.
Big Bore .. you may be right .. but it sure does lead to nuisance behavior as witnessed by a string of posting to another story on this site tonight ;-)
