Of course! The sun is shining and the long weekend is coming up.

Gas price up in Canada and down in the USA yet it comes from the same crude and the Cdn dollar is near par.
Goes along with all the other over priced goods in Canada.
And merchants wonder why cross border shopping is so popular.

Clearly the oil companies are voting for the ndp with this move. The party in power implemented the carbon tax, so maybe this is an election eve present from their friends in Calgary?

Never one to defend a raise in gas, but once again BCRacer is incorrect, the price of oil has raised over 10% in the past month.

maybe you should say that rather than ranting on untruths?

Where did gas go up??/ yesterday on way home from work was 129 and this morning still same price

This gas price crap is all a bunch of B.S. and I notice the politicians all get a gas allowance, and we pay for that in our taxes. Do I hear the words “Tax Revolt?” Maybe the words are thought, but remember we’re Canadians, and we’re to nice a people! Yah Right!

“Gas price up in Canada and down in the USA”

No it isn’t down in Northwest Washington state. I have never seen it as high as it is now. It started going up a couple of days ago.

$3.71 at Costco … $4.19 is highest in Bellingham.

With exchange rate not being favourable at the moment the Bellingham Costco price converts to $0.991/litre and the other to $1.119/litre.

It used to be $3.41 at Costco about a month ago.

“Clearly the oil companies are voting for the ndp with this move”

Lots of people in Bellingham voting for the NDP. Signs littering the lawns in all the subdivisions ……. ;-)

Our gas prices are higher because of the BC Liberals Carbon Tax….liberal tax and overspend….driving up the provinces debt so our grandchildren will still be paying for this tax and borrow govt!!

Here is a thought, why don’t you buy oil stocks with your TFTA. That way when the price at the pump goes up you make some money in your tax free account to offset it. Noooo that would make way to much sense….

Could be a lot cheaper without the carbon tax scam, heh Todd

If you drive that Fuel Efficient Vehicle , it won’t hurt as much, but I love my 79 Truck to pick big Things, no payments just Gas !

Hey Jim you are sounding more and more like a Dix/Sakliker. My apologies if my spelling of sacklicker is not quite right.

Do you really think the ndp aren’t going to tax and borrow and spend?

Pondering buying a more fuel efficient vehicle. Monthly payments between $300 and $500 dollars just to save money buying less gas. Allow me to ponder more.

The Chevron on 15th has the price to $139.9… a 10c/L jump in a day…the gas companies have their summer gouging tools out already!

What do we expect. The government counts on revenue from taxes paid when we buy gas. We are lucky its based on “per litre” and not based on a percentage of cost.
The oil companies can get away with it becasue they do something for the government.

What are you a 4 year old?

Most likely a little 4 year old.

Do you know we have a hospital in PG, they call it University Hospital of the North. Isn’t that an impressive name?? The question I have is why have the BC Liberals been under funding it so bad that they had to send me to Quesnel in February for an ultra~sound. Wouldn’t you think a university hospital would be teaching people how to do this in PG??? How odd.

I guess it was more important to fund the Victoria Lawn Bowling Society??

They do ultra sound in Prince George, perhaps they are just spreading the business around.

They also spent a lot of money changing the name from the Prince George Regional Hospital (PGRH) to University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) The Regional name makes sense and indicates where the hospital is located, while the University Hospital moniker makes no sense and leaves one to guess where it is located.

“Wouldn’t you think a university hospital would be teaching people how to do this in PG??? How odd.”

Not odd at all. Remember the intent of the northern medical program is to teach for practicing medicine in small rural communities.

PG is in between the metro hospitals which have the complete spectrum of practice available to small hospitals/clinics such as Fort St. James.

The northern medical program in Ontario is considered superior from that point of view. There is much more emphasis of clinical classes in rural settings.
