Human Remains Those of a Male
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say the remains discovered this week off Tyner Boulevard west and south of the University of Northern B.C, are those of a male.
Investigators have also located evidence that might help in identifying the human remains. This evidence will be compared to on-going missing person investigations being conducted by the Prince George RCMP. "This investigation is a priority for the Prince George RCMP" says Cpl. Craig Douglass, spokesperson for the Prince George Detachment. "We hope to be able to bring closure to the family and friends of this male."
Forensic analysis will be the determining factor in identifying the remains. That means there will be no rapid answer as to who this might be, as the use of forensic methods such as DNA analysis, take time.
