I anyone knows someone involved in a motorcycle accident , there is help . Contact the association for injured motorcyclists . They can be contacted at http://www.aimnorth.ca

I happened upon this crash scene shortly before ambulance arrived. “Very messy” indeed! Quite horrific! So happy the motorcyclist survived.

Really? Guy just about gets killed on a motorcycle by a deer and it’s funny?

Sorry for the nerves but I ride a Harley too. Would easily jump on my bike on a sunny Sunday afternoon for a ride to McBride and back.

BCRacer, just going out on a limb here….. maybe their lawyers can help him with dealing with ICBC, we all know how helpful they are at trying to pay you the least amount possible.

A.I.M doesn’t sue… it is there to HELP motorcyclists who are injured. They offer help, support, counsaling and have Dr’s and other who specialize with people who ride MC’s

I counselled myself to not ride a motorbike in the first place.

Some are too stupid to ride. So be it. Hope he is allright

Some deer are too stupid to cross a road when there is oncoming traffic. ;-)

Hope motorcyclist is all right with no lasting issues. My wife and I had a collision with a bear 3 years ago, these things happen fast and until your there you won’t know how fast.
Any of the above assinine comments truely reflect their authors.

Whelen ….

Fires, motor vehicle crashes, falling off a cliff, getting lost in the woods … and so on, are all things that happen to humans every day.

While any reasonable, social person feels some sense of sorrow, pity, etc. about such things, there is really nothing that we can do about those incidents since they have happened.

It is even difficult to make any significant changes to them in the future unless, in this particular case and that of moose getting hit by vehicles, one were to implement the same approach as was done in some major highways of building overpasses or underpasses in some locations and fencing along the entire length of the highway that has a high wildlife population adjacent.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, including those who find humour in misfortune. Not everyone has the same sense of humour.

I know that the British, the Germans and the Russians are known for that type of humour – the fat man slipping on a banana peel as Stephen Leacock related.

To some it is a way of overcoming tragedy.

Aim is not a law firm and has no lawyers . They help with support and information to motorcycle accident victims and their families . Maybe go check out the information provided before jumping to conclusions and making jokes and comments in poor taste . Lucky this guy survived , it could have easily been much worse .

It sounds like a horrible accident. I hope the rider is okay.
