Kids and Clean Air Contest

Prince George, BC. – The winners of the Prince George Air Improvement Roundtable (PG AIR) Clean Air Day poster contest are:
 
7 year old Isabella Pighin and 6 year old Layla Houghtaling, both of Vanway Public School.
 
Their winning posters were among the 79 received by PG AIR over   a two week period.
 
A third Vanway student, 7 year old Jorja Eyles received an honourable mention.
 
PG AIR Program Coordinator Tiffany Bonnett says they were pleased so see all of the entries“ The purpose of the contest was to get students thinking about air quality and what clean air means to them.”
 
Both winning posters will be featured on the cover of the Ministry of Environment Annual Air Quality Report for the Prince George Airshed.
