This is so very sad to hear. We did not know John all that well. he was my daughter’s math tutor a few years ago and he was a superb teacher as well as a gentleman of good humour and wit. My family’s heartful prayers go out to his family. he will be remembered.

I taught with John Ireland and he was a wonderful teacher, respected by both students and his fellow teachers. My heartfelt feelings go to his family. Rest In Peace!
