Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Fire/Rescue crews were pressed into action this morning after a house fire was
reported in the 2400 block of Abbott Crescent.

Assistant Chief Darrell Kloschinsky says a little before 7am fifteen firefighters from three halls responded to the fire and found smoke pouring out of the house. Nobody was at home at the time of the fire. One firefighter was taken to University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Assistant Chief Kloschinsky says crews are still on scene extinguishing hot spots. Although damage to the house is extensive, there is no damage estimate at this time.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
