Prince George, B.C. – The name of the person who perished yesterday following a fire in a Dave Road, Beaverly home  has not yet been released.

 

Volunteers and four pieces of  fire fighting equipment from the Beaverly Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire around 11 yesterday morning.   Crews knocked down the fire, then entered the building and brought the lone occupant out.

 

Although the person was rushed to hospital in Prince George, they succumbed to their injuries.

 

While fire fighters were able to contain the fire to one room in the home, the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
