Two Formally Charged In Connection with Recent Rural Property Crime

Prince George, B.C.- Two people, suspected of being involved in a recent rural property theft, have now been formally charged.
This is the case which saw the property owner call police when he spotted two people with flashlights, loading items into the back of a pick up. Police arrived on scene, and took two suspects into custody.
43 year old Dorian McCrea, of Prince George and 37 year old Andrea Erika Johnson have been charged by Provincial Crown Counsel with:
· Break & Enter with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
· Break & Enter and Commit Indictable Offence
· Attempted Theft Over $5000
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime $5000 or Under
· Possession of Break-in Instruments
· Mischief Over $5000 (2 counts)
McCrea has been charged with the following additional offences:
- Assaulting a Peace Officer with a Weapon
- Resisting Arrest
- Mischief $5000 or Under
- Breach of Undertaking (3 counts)
McCrea has been held in custody at least until his next Court appearance scheduled for Wednesday August 14th, 2013. Johnson was released on a Promise to Appear for Court on Wednesday August 21st, 2013.
