Police Seek Info on Assault

Police had received a call that an assault had taken place in Rainbow Park around 2:00 a.m. Sunday.
A perimeter was set up and a Police Service Dog called in to assist. While the crime scene was determined, there was no sign of a suspect.
The victim of the assault is a 19 year old female who suffered a cut to her head. Police say the cut was caused “by an edged weapon”. The victim was taken to hospital treated and released.
