Former P.G. Detachment Commander to Be in Charge of Mounties in Saskatchewan

Brenda Butterworth-Carr was the commanding officer of the PG detachment from 2009 to 2011 when she was promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent and moved to Ottawa where she was the Director General of National Aboriginal Policing and Crime Prevention Services at National Headquarters .

Last September she took on the role of Criminal Operations Officer for the RCMP in Saskatchewan.
She will take over the post as Commanding Officer for “F” Division from Assistant Commissioner Russ Mirasty. He is retiring after 36 years of service with the RCMP.
