Coquitlam Murder Victim Former Renegades ‘Striker’
Prince George, B.C. – Joey Lamont Arrance is dead, in what the Lower Mainland’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team believes is a gang-related homicide.
Labelled by police as a "striker" (low level member) in the Renegades Motorcycle Club in Prince George, and alleged to be linked to the Game Tight Soldiers, the 34-year-old was shot in a car in a residential neighbourhood in Coquitlam around 11 Wednesday night.
His name first came to light following a brazen shots fired incident in downtown Prince George in August of 2008.
In September of 2010, police executed a search warrant on his home and seized a loaded hand gun, ammunition, a dummy grenade and body armour. Arrance was charged and held in custody pending trial. He did not plead guilty until early 2012 when DNA results on the handgun were made available. In May of 2012 he was ordered to serve 3 and a half more months in jail, (in addition to time spent waiting to come to trial) and was then ordered not to come within 100-kilometres of Prince George for another year and a half.
He was also found not guilty of sexual assault in a case that alleged he had assaulted a woman in the Renegades Club house.
The Foster Road home where Arrance and his girlfriend lived with her mother, was torched in November of 2010. The wheelchair-bound mother later succumbed to her injuries.
Arrance was also linked with a tattoo parlour in Prince George, it was torched just days before flames hit the Foster Road home.
Most recently, the Director of Civil Forfeiture was trying to locate Arrance in order to serve him with notice the Province was going to seize nearly $250 thousand dollars in cash and jewellery as they were considered proceeds of crime.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, along with Coquitlam RCMP, continue to investigate the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the IHIT tipline at 1-877-551-4448, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

I just rolled my eyes after reading about this guy. Thanks for the exercise. Maybe the government can have a “Match Registration Program.”. You know, a permit to carry matches.
Best news I’ve heard all month.
Well for the moment we should have some peace and quiet until some other idiot steps up to take his place. Time will tell
All four news item is about someone dying.
Anne Murray, we need a little good news.
Does it really matter what he did for a living?
A person died he was a father a brother a son. Why does it matter
What he did… No one is perfect people make bad
Choices it’s part of being human. Who are you to say
Good one less on the streets…, I’m sure everyone one if you
Has someone in your family dealing with some kind
Of addition would you say these thing if he was part of your family
I think not
What should be said is people like this recruit my child and yours into gang life.
IMHO a lot more than one less on the street.
Jennibaxter:
Seriously…, are you going to build a monument for Joey Arrance next to Clay Wileys at the cemetery ? The man was a piece of poo, and if you’re in love with him, well, so are you !
Ho hum !
May he have a good time with Billy Nomoore !
Birds of a feather!
I don’t know who this guy is, but his mother or father or someone who loved
Him may be on here and don’t need to see everyone’s bad comments. That is all…
“are you going to build a monument for Joey Arrance next to Clay Wileys at the cemetery”
Some people would think that the amount of attention being paid to this fellow is already too much.
This is likely one of the things he aspired to, to become known and we are giving people who live this lifestyle the fame they are looking for with the attention we pay to it.
Think about it.
Excellent! Saved us taxpayers a ton of money!
