RCMP and BC Coroners Service attend Strathcona Park photo submitted
Prince George, BC – Both Prince George RCMP officers and staff with the regional BC Coroners Service office were called out to a city park earlier today, after the discovery of a man’s body.
RCMP Media Relations Officer, Corporal Craig Douglass, says there is no evidence of foul play. The victim was discovered in Strathcona Park in the VLA neighbourhood. Corporal Douglass says early indications are the man’s death may have been related to alcohol or drug use.
At this point, Douglass says the Coroners Service has taken over the investigation and there is nothing suspicious about the death.
