Prince George, B.C. – A Prince George RCMP program targeting prolific offenders and prolific properties seems to be paying dividends.
On Wednesday members of the RCMP Crime Reduction Team assisted by the Downtown Enforcement Unit arrested one of the city’s prolific offenders, 29-year-old Justin Edward Pawluck as he was coming out of a known drug house on Oak Street. Turns out the house is the detachment’s latest targeted prolific property. Police say that when Pawluck spotted officers approaching he tried to get away on a bicycle but was caught in short order. Investigators say they recovered enough crack cocaine for 700 doses on the street along with a “significant” amount of cash.
Pawluck is in custody pending a September 18th court date on charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and resisting arrest.
Police say a search warrant executed at the same Oak Street house on August 8th resulted in the seizure of drugs, counterfeit money and a modified rifle. 41-year-old Pamela Jane Starnes is facing charges related to counterfeiting.

He’s a repeat piece of $&@”
Throw the book at him. Seize the house too
That should get the message across.
He is most likely out already. At least he is green, bicycle getaway, just has to pedal faster.
And all these years I thought “gangsters” and I mean real gangsters had a getaway car. A black sedan and a driver. Alas, welcome to the environmental mentality of today’s gangster. At least he is saving the planet on his bike. It is to laff. What a loser!
Why not spend the time and money on getting the people that are making this crap.. Not the ones selling it
The RCMP would rather “spend the time GETTING money from motorists. More profit than drug dealers, less court time, less paperwork, no lawyers, or court time. Money for the Crown for sure that you as an honest taxpayer will symbolically bend over and blithely “give” the cops yer hard earned after tax dough without a second thought. Don’t forget the double penalty if ICBC doesn’t like the cut of your jib too. But don’t worry. City hall gets about 25% of those fines and you can feel good at tax time when the city announces a property tax reduction due to stupid drivers.
H I E S E N B U R G ! !
Time to put in the three strikes you’re out law. Put these losers away for a long time after the third offense. These people are a blight on society, preying on the weak and never will conform with our laws. Our weak justice system works like a revolving door with the same names in the court docket week after week it seems. At least in this case above, the cops know where they live and hangout. Its unfortunate for the innocent citizens living in this area that they have to put up with this crap.
As the story states, targeting prolific offenders seems to be working. We should have started this program 10/15 years ago.
In any event better late than never. The police/city/fire dept/BC Hydro etc; working together can make it harder for these places to function.
Hopefully they will sentence them to more than two years less a day. That way they can go to the BC Pen, and we get them out of this area.
$6500 per tax paid month send them to rehab.
