Prince George, B.C.- It will be an extra day off for students of Blackburn School.
School District 57 Superintendent Brian Pepper says that school will not open on the 4th as originally planned. “There is a water issue at Blackburn, so that school will not open on the 4th. Instead, we will keep it closed for that day and students will start classes on Thursday the 5th.”
The source of the water issue was not detailed, but there is confidence it can be dealt with in time to open the school on Thursday for regular classes.
