Prince George, B.C.- It will be an extra day off for students of Blackburn School.

 

School District 57 Superintendent Brian Pepper says that school will not open on the 4^th as originally planned. “There is a water issue at Blackburn, so that school will not open on the 4^th. Instead, we will keep it closed for that day and students will start classes on Thursday the 5^th.”

 

The source of the water issue was not detailed, but there is confidence it can be dealt with in time to open the school on Thursday for regular classes.
