Vanderhoof Man Faces Seven Charges

Prince George- Charges have been laid against a Vanderhoof man who police say was responsible for committing a series of offences while fleeing from police last weekend.
Ubong David Awaak, 34, of Vanderhoof, has been charged with seven counts in relation to an incident in a shopping center in College heights.
He is charged with assaulting a peace officer, wilfully resisting arrest, escaping lawful custody, unlawful confinement, assault, and mischief.
Awak has been returned to Vanderhoof to face a charge there and then will be returned to Prince George to face his charges here.

seems he has had some issues with the law and had no desire to be brought to court. well done to the RCMP.
Strange. I can’t find this guy for outstanding charges at the provincial court site…
Try the provincial courtlist for Vanderhoof in a week, as the previous charges originated there, or PG on Friday.
