Lets just hope the polar bears don’t show up to crash the party… good thing its in May.

Artic Meetings in Prince George. Hmmm sounds to me that they must have canceled this global warming campaign

I wonder how many from the Arctic will be in attendance.

Sort of like having a Russian studies conference in Ireland.

People who study the Arctic are often based farther south. Also, locations in the Arctic tend to be difficult to reach. A location like Prince George can make travel simpler and cheaper.

What about the Sasquatches ???

billposer …. that is why the Ancient Greeks used to love studying the Americas.

Of course, based on their writings of the Americas, they never did learn too much about them. ;-)

gus …being based farther south is not the same thing as not spending time in the Arctic. The situation is not comparable to the Ancient Greeks and places with which they were not familiar.
