One in Custody Following Stabbing
Prince George, B.C.- At approximately 8:30 PM on Tuesday September 10th, 2013, the Prince George RCMP and the BC Ambulance Service responded to a report of an apparent stabbing on the 2500 block of Oak Street in the City.
On arrival, officers located a 55 year old male Prince George resident with wounds that appeared to be caused by an edged weapon. The man was transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment. The injuries to the man appear to be non-life threatening.
Officers located and arrested a 46 year old female Prince George resident believed responsible for the injuries.
Police believe the two persons were known to each other and were in a relationship.
Investigators, including those from the Detachment’s Forensic Identification and Serious Crime Sections, are currently on scene gathering evidence. The investigation is continuing.
