Get Set For Some Fall Weather

Saturday, September 14, 2013 @ 9:15 AM
Prince George, B.C. – If you have plans which are dependent upon sunny, warm weather you’d best get to them, today.

Environment Canada, in a special weather statement, says the weather is going to change in a big way tomorrow. The agency say the high pressure that has given us sunny, dry weather and several high temperature records is going to break down. As that ridge collapses on Sunday very moist unstable air will start moving north, covering most of the province.

We can expect thunderstorms with lightning, downpours, hail and gusty winds over much of the interior as early as Sunday evening and remaining through Monday. By Tuesday a series of Pacific storms will move in from the west, bringing cooler, wet weather through the rest of the week.

Environment Canada says today will likely be the last day of great extended summer conditions.

It was great while it lasted. This summer almost made up for the past several crappy summers we’ve had.

Ditto to that JohnnyBelt, the only thing left to do now is cut the grass before it rains…….and soak up the last bit of sun

Oh thank god. I work outside and this summer could cool off at any time. It was a great one tho.

Noooo….. wait ’til Monday!

Damn….my first day off is Monday :( I was looking forward to getting in some fall riding.
