Overnight Fire on Quince

Prince George, B.C.- Shortly after midnight, Prince George Fire and Rescue attended a report of a structure fire on the 2300 block of Quince Street.
Upon arrival crews found a fully involved carport fire at a duplex involving 4 vehicles.
Although the fire was quickly brought under control it extended into the attic area of the home and had melted some siding on an adjacent home.
Crews also had to deal with downed power lines. There were no injuries to occupants or emergency personnel and several pets in the homes were also unharmed.
The fire is under investigation and crews will remain on scene.
