Prince George, B.C.- A housefire on Cranbrook Hill, sent thick black smoke into the air over Prince George this morning.
It will be some time before officials can release any details on the incident, however, there are suggestions a power line may have come down in the wind, and could be responsible for touching off the blaze. That has not been confirmed.
There was no one home at the time of the fire, and no indication there were any family pets in the home.
Further details will be released once fire officials have cleared the scene. Fire fighters remain on scene.

I don’t remember fire hydrants in the area. I wonder if they are pulling it out of a lagoon?
There is 1 hydrant up there, fed from the water reservoir
