Regional Tourism Operators To Meet In PG
Prince George, BC – Tourism stakeholders from across the region are expected to converge in Prince George early next month for the Northern BC Tourism Association’s regional meeting.
Association CEO, Anthony Everett, says the event will bring together representatives from tourism businesses, marketing associations, city councils and economic development organizations from throughout Northern BC.
He says marketing opportunities stemming from the upcoming 2015 Canada Winter Games will be a highlight on the agenda. As will a presentation from a Destination BC representative – this past summer marked the first tourism season for the new crown corporation.
Everett says the meeting is open to anyone interested in or involved in the tourism industry and is an opportunity to share knowledge. Registration is online at www.nbctagm.com or by calling Northern BC Tourism at 250-561-0432 (ext 6). The gathering is set for October 7th.
