Terrace, B.C. -While there has been no confirmation, news reports from Terrace say the mother of Devlin Sabo , one of two mushroom pickers who went missing on September 22nd in the area near Cedarvale has reported on Face Book that her son died .
26 Year old Ike Murray was found by CN workers about 75 kilometers east of Terrace yesterday as he walked along the tracks. He was taken to hospital in Terrace where his condition is described as stable.
The posting on Face book says Murray stayed with his friend until he passed away and then tried to make his way out of the bush. The area where the two men went missing, is described as rugged. Wet, cold, conditions have been prevalent in the area over the past two weeks.
The two men were part of a party of three who were mushroom picking. One of the three made it back to the shore and their boat , the other two became lost prompting a search in the area.

It must be true if it was posted on facebook..!
northman, I can’t imagine a mother posting something like that if it wasn’t true :(
All im saying is wait for the offical report to come out.. Not trying to be critical but if your an active facebook user you would know hearsay is rampant..
If it is his mother, it is unlikely to be hearsay. On the other hand, you can’t always tell whether a Facebook account really belongs to the person it claims to belong to.
I can’t believe Opionion250 would post something that is very difficult to verify.
What is difficult to verify?
This is a story about a Facebook posting by someone presenting themselves as a subjects mother.
As to the disposition of the mushroom picker, that will be another story to whine about the content or the phrasing.
This is a very sad story, and if it turns out whatever is on facebook is true, at least he wasn’t alone and how sad for a friend to watch someone slip away.
