Library’s ‘friends’ take advantage of preview to this weekend’s book sale

Prince George, BC – It pays to be a ‘friend’…

Members of the Friends of the Prince George Public Library were given a two-hour exclusive opportunity to browse through the books for sale at this weekend’s fundraiser.

And, if the crowd at yesterday’s preview was any indication, it appears library patrons and supporters will be lining up to stock up on some reading material for the coming colder months.

The fall sale is hosted by the Friends in the Keith Gordon Room between 10am and 4pm today and 1pm and 4pm tomorrow.  It’s open to all and book purchases are by donation.

All proceeds go towards supporting library programs and services.
