Building Permit Values on Par with 2012

Prince George, B.C. – The value of building permits issued in September in the City of Prince George was $5,048,898.00. That is down from September of last year when the value was $6,109,469.00 and below the September 2011 mark of $10,162,938.00.
The year to date permit values are sitting at $96,414,900 which is pretty much in line with last years mark at the end of the third quarter when permit values were $98,755,451.00 .
The year to date values at the end of September 2011, were $64,972,628.00.
One of the significant permits issued last month was for the foundation for the new Shoppers Drug Mart being built in the Hart. That value of that project is $1.5 million.
