Prince George, B.C. – Time is running out for the Prince George Cougars online charity jersey auction.

The online auction of retro jerseys, worn on the team’s 20th anniversary home opener September 7th, will close at noon tomorrow.

So far, the highest bid is for the jersey worn by #3, Marc McNulty. The jersey worn by the 6’6” defenseman from Medicine Hat, was at $460 dollars by noon today.

“We are really thrilled by the response of the community so far with the auction"says Cougars Vice President Brandy Brodsky. "Some really interesting bidding activities have been happening and it has been a lot of fun for the team and the fans to see bids come in”.
The jersey auction is part of the team’s ongoing commitment to support the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

This year already the Cougars have raised over $40,000 for the Foundation, and are hoping to raise another $5,000 from the auction.
