Guess Moose Coming for Dinner?
Prince George, B.C.- Sometimes, when you have a garden, you just never know who will be stopping by to dine on the fruits of your labour.
In the case of a Prince George family who live on the north end of the City, a cow moose and her calf wandered into the backyard this afternoon to nibble on some kale.
The home owners say they didn’t mind, the visit was short, the kale may be gone, but the visit did result in this lovely photo.
250News would like to thank the homeowners for sharing with us.

They look a lot healthier than the ones I had in my front yard last April.
Moose have always been into organic for as long as I can remember. … Now what will the biologists have to say about moose jumping in on the latest health food trend? ;->
How come the picture is upside down… ? Lol
Found 2 moose in my yard in Telkwa this morning. Unfortunately could not get a good picture being a bit too dark at 8 still.
The one that entered my yard uninvited is now right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy. perfect!
I love it! Thanks for sharing!
What a smart momma, brings her calf in to town, probably until the calf season is over tomorrow.
Great photo, thanks.
