Man Arrested for Alleged Voyeurism

Terrace, B.C. – Terrace Mounties say they’ve made an arrest in the case of a high-tech voyeur.
RCMP began receiving complaints in July about a man trying to use a hidden camera to look up women’s skirts. In September, a store clerk at the local mall recognized the suspect and chased him from the business. The man left behind an envelope containing a hidden camera that the man was allegedly trying to slide under women’s skirts.
Terrace RCMP managed to get photos of the man from his camera and included some of them in a news release late last month with the hopes of finding the suspect. Investigators say the tactic paid off with the arrest of a 53 year old New Hazelton man this week.
The man is expected in court at a later date to face up to seven possible counts of voyeurism. Anyone with information should contact Terrace RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

With the ready availability of all manner of porn on the net, unless this guy was targeting specific women, it is hard to see why he would feel a need to do this.
He’s not doing it to simply go home and view porn. He’s doing it to vicimize unkowing women and to get off on the power he feels as a result. Big difference. He’s a predator.
