An honour system seems to be emerging in at least one neighbourhood for trick-or-treaters taking the streets on Halloween.
‘Help yourself’ tables! The treat platters included a sign inviting costume-clad kids to pick their own delights. And while you can’t clearly see the sign at right, the generosity was four goodies per person.
This offering was one of four self-serve sites in three blocks within the Foothills neighbourhood. And, it appeared, the youngsters were happy to comply with the recommended guidelines…leaving a supply for bounty seekers who came after them.
On the creative recycling front was this guy…
Fortunately for parents out and about, there was only a slight wind to whip this ghostly creation about, but, given that he was made out of plastic milk jugs, any breeze is certain to be a bone-rattler.
