Man Shot in Altercation on Nation Crescent

Prince George RCMP responded to a 9-1-1 call of “shots fired” on Nation Crescent just before midnight last night.
When they arrived on scene, they found a 51 year old man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The man was taken to University Hospital of Northern B.C. where he is being treated. He is expected to survive.
A Police Service Dog was called out to assist officers in locating a suspect, but the suspect has not yet been found.
The scene has been secured, and the Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit called in.

shooter will probably be on probation by that time, won’t be able to attend.
