Prince George, B.C. – Once again we’ve arrived at that time of year when all of the indicators appear telling us that Christmas is not far off.
Now we’re not talking about all of the commercial displays that appear in some stores within the same hour that the Halloween items disappear (or in some cases, well BEFORE the Halloween items leave the shelves). No, it is the multitude of craft fairs that take place around Prince George in the final six weeks before Christmas Day.
One of the biggies in town is the DP Todd Craft Fair, running today and tomorrow from 10 am to 4 pm. Hosted by the DP Todd band program the fair features many craft and gift items as well as a concession.
By the way, the 16th annual CNC Craft Fair takes place this coming Wednesday, 10 am to 2 pm at the CNC Gathering Place.

there was at least two jewellry sellers who were just that– I think these ladies are importers not crafters– I overheard one of the real artisans state that he had brought this to the attention of the organizers and they were unwilling to eliminate these vendors!
