Prince George, B.C. – As part of the ongoing effort  to  make winter use of the backcountry safer,  a new series of videos has been developed.

The  videos were made for and by , mountain snowmobilers “Throttle Decisions” share  spectacular scenery and strong messages from trained and experienced riders.

There are  eight “chapters”  that present information  that is  very  close to what is taught in the two day avalanche skills training course.

 “The videos are engaging, informative and exciting to watch” says Canadian Avalanche Centre Executive Director Gilles Valade, “We’re very pleased with Throttle Decisions and look forward to getting it in the hands of riders.”

And while the videos are a start,  each chapter stresses the importance of taking a two day Avalanche Skilles Training Course .
