Prince George, B.C. – RCMP are advising Highway 16 East at Upper Fraser Road, is down to single lane alternating traffic .
Early reports are that a logging truck has lost its load in that area. At this time, there are no reports of any serious injuries. As Officers were just arriving on scene, it is not yet clear if the logs were dumped off to the side, or if they are actually on the road.
In either case, drivers can expect a slow down through the area as the debris is cleared.

Does anyone know why the semi on Quinn and 18th was parked in the middle of the 4 way stop?
A cop was there with his light on. The truck had a full load of lumber
10 hour shift was up and he needed sleep!
Maybe it was one of those fancy dandy computer controlled trucks and the computer shut it down.
Loaded logging truck on Quinn and 18th. Hmmm … lost maybe? :-)
Isn’t Inland Kenworth right around there? Maybe broke down middle of road, not unheard of in cold weather.
My wife was by there and she said his 5th wheel let go and his trailer came off .
I had a Situation like that many Years ago, a few seconds earlier and I would have been under the Logs. The Trailer broke the Hitch on the new Nechako Bridge west of Vanderhoof.
To fast coming off Upper Fraser rd onto the hwy.
