Second Session on Municipal Alcohol Plan Set

Prince George, B.C.- Last week’s snow event in Prince George meant the open house on the City of Prince George’s proposed updates to its Municipal Alcohol Services Plan was not well attended.
A second session has been set so those who couldn’t get through the snow to the first one, will have a chance to make it to the second.
The new session has been set for Wednesday December 18th at 7:00 p. at the College of New Caledonia, room 1-306.
The deadline for the online survey has been extended as well, completed surveys will be accepted until Friday, December 20th. You can fill in the online survey by clicking here, or pick up a hard copy at City facilities.

I guess when Mayor/Council don’t get the results they want they make a new rule.
“We didn’t get enough people, so let’s set another date”.
Yet they only gave a couple of days for people to even think about their hair brained proposal for the hotel at CN Center.
Also, maybe DUE TO WEATHER, next November if there is too much snow to drive in, and its election day, they should “have a chance to make it to the second” voting day… set on a non snow day.
Different rules when it’s something they want. I know they can’t do that.. but I’m just sayin….
